PAULO Sousa's Portuguese revolution at the Walkers Stadium has kicked-off with the arrival of young Benfica centre-back Miguel Vitor on a season-long loan deal.
Sousa, who was officially announced as Leicester's new boss this week, has wasted no time in returning to his home country to secure the signing of the 21-year-old for the 2010-11 npower Championship campaign.
Benfica's official site has confirmed the deal today and Vitor, capped 15 times for Portugal at under-21 level, is set to be announced as Sousa's first signing as Foxes boss before the end of the week.
The hot prospect came through the youth ranks at the Portuguese giants and enjoyed 23 appearances for Benfica's first team in the 2008-09 campaign.
But he found his chances limited last season, playing just two league matches as Benfica strolled to the league title, although he did feature in the Europa League.
Vitor will plug the gap left by Wayne Brown, who secured a move to Preston North End earlier this week.
Meanwhile, Nolberto Solano has left the Foxes and is currently on trial at Championship rivals Hull City.
