City full back Joe Mattock has this afternoon handed in a transfer request.
The 19 year old had been linked with moves to West Bromich Albion and rivals Nottingham Forest earlier in the week and it is thought that West Brom have now made a bid of around £2 million.
Despite his tender age Mattock has been a regular in the City side for the past 2 seasons since breaking into the first team at 16.
